This is a new model in the Carbonsonic series. These shuttles represent a distinct category of badminton shuttlecocks, often compared to hybrid shuttles, but differentiated by the use of artificial feathers. The shuttles are designed to deliver the playing characteristics of natural feather shuttlecocks, combined with the price and durability of plastic shuttles.
These shuttles are made of foam feathers (LDPE) attached to a fine and ultra-light carbon frame. The new material provides stability, robustness, and elasticity, resulting in a completely new playing experience.
The base of the NCS is made from composite carbon fiber, while the feathers are produced from an aerodynamic synthetic material known for its high stiffness, lightweight properties, and tear resistance.
Through advanced computer analysis and simulation of mechanics and weight distribution, combined with hundreds of tests, NCS achieves the perfect balance in synthetic shuttlecock performance. This innovative design has been patented in multiple countries across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
NCS delivers stable flight, solid hits, and exceptional durability. The trajectory, hitting feel, and weight closely resemble those of natural feather shuttlecocks, while the crisp sound of each strike enhances its distinctive character. Professional testing has shown that NCS can withstand rallies of over 100 medium- to long-distance shots, proving durability that surpasses that of typical feather shuttlecocks.
The Carbonsonic Max shuttles have been upgraded with an additional resin layer at the base of the cork to reduce susceptibility to deformation. The shuttle’s aerodynamics have also been improved, bringing the playing feel even closer to that of a real feather shuttlecock.
