The biggest improvement of this new material is that the handle shoots back faster at the moment of striking so that higher speeds can be achieved with the smashes. Because the entire racket is made with this material, the contact time with the shuttle is doubled, making the strokes more explosive than ever. This 'Head Heavy' racket is suitable for attacking players who want extra power in the smashes. The stiff handle offers players very much control during the rallies.

The Yonex Astrox 99 LCW is equipped with a new Yonex technology, called the 'Rotational Generator System'. This means that the weight distribution is not only at the top but also in the handle.
